Kaikoura Marine Life Adventure
On November 14, 2016, shortly after midnight, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake rocked Kaikoura, resulting in landslides and major land movement. Whole sections of the seabed rose and the coastline dramatically changed.
This incredible tour lets you see the full extent of what happened, from the air. Also included is a scenic plane or helicopter (there is an extra charge for this, please enquire) flight over the ocean to enjoy views of the marine life that Kaikoura is famous for. Then on your way back to base, fly down along the coastline for another chance to witness seals, dolphins and whales in their glorious natural habitat.
